The benefits are multiple and from business perspective it makes sense. For one, being made in India, more jobs are being created that can help alleviate the unemployment problem. Patanjali Ayurveda has broken into the top ten FMCG companies in India with revenues of over Rs 10,000 crores. It is ranked only behind Unilever and has left MNCs such as Nestle far behind. And, with its planned forays into fast-food segment, the MNCs are in for stiff competition while Make in India initiative is going to get a further impetus.
